I smell Ninja! The residue of swordplay and secrets mixed with sweat from the war-horses mane. I smell Ninja. I smell hunting dogs, but this ninja doesn't stink. When I'm in battle, I follow my heart. Watch out for my bear claw. I taped it to my foot. A human leg with a bear's foot. Yes! A crazy old scientist that I meet in the future will engineer my mutations. What's his problem? Why's he sitting in the street? Is he weird? Hello! Guess what?!? I can still hear with my mask on, so while you and your sister whisper your little insults, picture me from the knees down!! The human leg with a bear foot.

Dizzy and head-spinning, this is a difficult but great work. Merges the angular Krallice sound towards doom metal in certain parts. Adding Dave Edwardson from Neurosis pays benefits, but this pairing would be used to much greater effect on 2020's "Mass Cathexis." Still hard to believe that this was made at the same time as Go Be Forgotten... incredible. bcb723

Krallice at their finest--triumphant, labyrinthine guitar melodies, complicated bass lines that provide a dark harmonic counterpoint, and expert drumming guiding like a lantern through the darkness. If you've never been treated to their signature brand of USBM before now, this is a perfect place to start. PannionSeer
