The cave is empty but this expedition isn't over, so unpack your cooker, and start shaving your knuckles. 3 days of food, 6 days of water. When the wolves come, they'll recognize me by my quiet demeanor. They'll approach me casually, acting like they don't know who I am. Hey dog people! Look at these teeth! How's that for suspicious? And I'm prepared to dance all night. I said, don't talk to me while I'm chewin' hide! And don't bother following me either. I already know what they'll say. A she-wolf with dry knuckles is no she-wolf at all. Why won't dirt burn?

Dizzy and head-spinning, this is a difficult but great work. Merges the angular Krallice sound towards doom metal in certain parts. Adding Dave Edwardson from Neurosis pays benefits, but this pairing would be used to much greater effect on 2020's "Mass Cathexis." Still hard to believe that this was made at the same time as Go Be Forgotten... incredible. bcb723

Krallice at their finest--triumphant, labyrinthine guitar melodies, complicated bass lines that provide a dark harmonic counterpoint, and expert drumming guiding like a lantern through the darkness. If you've never been treated to their signature brand of USBM before now, this is a perfect place to start. PannionSeer
